Frequently asked questions.

1. What is concierge physical therapy?
Concierge physical therapy means I bring the care to you! Whether it's in your living room, office, or even your backyard, I provide one-on-one physical therapy tailored to your needs without the hassle of traveling to a clinic.

2. What conditions or injuries do you treat?
I specialize in orthopedic, vestibular and perinatal physical therapy, which means I can help with anything from recovering after an injury to addressing pregnancy or postpartum-related concerns. Whether you're dealing with back pain, recovering from surgery, suffering with vertigo or just want to move better, I've got you covered.

3. Do you treat prenatal or postpartum clients?
Yes! As a mom of three, I understand firsthand how pregnancy and postpartum can challenge your body. I love helping moms feel stronger, move better, and return to the activities they love.

4. What should I expect during a session?
Every session is 100% personalized. We’ll start with a thorough assessment of your movement, goals, and any concerns. Then, we’ll dive into hands-on techniques, exercises, and practical strategies to get you feeling your best.  Each follow-up session will be a continuation of your care, building on and working towards your personal health goals.

5. How long are the physical therapy sessions?
Sessions typically last about 60 minutes, dry needling sessions last about 30 minutes. That gives us plenty of time to focus on what matters most to you!

6. Do you offer virtual sessions or consultations?
Yes! If you’d prefer to meet virtually, I offer online consultations and follow-ups through my scheduling app. These can be great for answering questions, checking your progress, or creating a home exercise plan.

Pricing and Insurance Questions
7. Do you accept insurance?
I don't bill insurance directly, but I can provide you with a detailed invoice (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement.

8. How does payment work?
I accept payment via credit card, debit card, HSA/FSA accounts, or digital payment options. Payment is due at the time of service.

9. Can I submit a receipt to my insurance for reimbursement?
Absolutely! Many patients successfully receive partial reimbursement for out-of-network physical therapy services. I’ll provide the necessary documentation to make the process as smooth as possible. You can file this yourself, or I can tell you about paid services that will file it for you.

10. Do you offer package deals or discounts for multiple sessions?
Yes! I offer package options for clients who want to commit to their care plan and save a little in the process. Feel free to ask for details!

For New Patients
18. What do I need to prepare for my first session?
Just wear something comfortable that lets you move easily, I’ll bring all the necessary equipment. I only need a space about the size of a dining room table to treat in. If you have pets, please contain them so that they do not distract us from our session and to keep our space clear.

19. What should I wear to my appointment? Anything you’d wear to a workout or a yoga class works great. Comfort is key!

20. Do you provide equipment, or do I need to have anything on hand?
I bring all the essentials! If there’s something specific we need, I’ll let you know ahead of time. If you'd like to demonstrate an exercise with equipment you have on hand, feel free to have that available.
